GARMENT MANUFACTURERS FACE CRITICAL TIMES:
LONG TO COTTON YARN COMPANY LTD:
ANOTHER INDUSTRIALIST IS ABOUT TO GO TO
THE KNACKER’S YARD ?
And yet another textiler of the Hongkong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR)
of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) appears to have closed down.
The textiler is the rather large group of companies, belonging to Long To Cotton Yarn Company Ltd (浪淘花紗有限公司) of Castle Peak Road, Kowloon, the HKSAR.
Over the past 14 months, this group of companies and their principals have amassed a total of not less than 20 Claims in various HKSAR Courts.
The aggregate amount of these 20 claims is not less than $HK110 million.
The main companies of the Long To Group comprise:
Long To Cotton Yarn Company Ltd;
Decortex Ltd (德威紡織有限公司);
and,
Primestar China Ltd (恆星中國有限公司).
The principal players of the above-mentioned companies are:
Ms Connie Chung Hong Nay (鍾康妮);
Ms Fan Kwan Tai (范群娣);
and,
Mr Lam Ka Wai (林家威).
